Photography Open Call: Year of Coasts and Waterways 2021 Got the photography skills to be part of a gallery exhibition? With the extended lockdowns due to the pandemic, the RGI would like to help everyone get outdoors and celebrate Scotland’s Year of Coasts and Waterways. Do you have a favourite spot or location in Scotland which you would like to photograph? It could be a beach, canal or your favourite spot in the centre of a city near a river. We want to see what inspires you during these strange times! The RGI Kelly Gallery is happy to announce a new Open Call for young adults aged (15-20 years old) for 2021. The winners will be selected to be showcased in a physical exhibition at The Kelly Gallery, 118 Douglas Street in September 2021 (all dependent on Covid-19 restrictions). All selected works will also be put onto our social media platforms and online shop. Find out more about the Year of Coasts and Waterways here. To apply: Participants must be aged 15-20 years old. Medium must be photography. The submission must relate to the theme of Coasts and Waterways. To submit please email email@example.com before the deadline. Submissions without all the correct information will not be considered. Framed and unframed works will be accepted for submission. Please provide an artist bio/statement with full name and date of birth, no more than 150 words. Please submit the work as a high resolution Jpeg (min 300dpi). Deadline:1st August 2021 5pm.
