In focus: Artist of the Month

Primarily a painter, Gordy’s work straddles imagined and real life scenarios. He has a BA in Visual Art from Leeds Metropolitan University and a MA in Fine Art from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee.

Who We Are: The Royal Glasgow Institute is an independent organisation promoting and encouraging Scotland’s contemporary art and artists.

What We Do: We organise open exhibitions which means that anyone can show and sell their art work once selected.

How We Do It:  We offer Exhibition opportunities at our wholly owned and managed Gallery in Glasgow’s City Centre – The Royal Glasgow Institute Kelly Gallery. We encourage young people to enjoy art through our highly respected education programme.
