Bio: Damian Henry, GSA graduate, is a printmaker known for his bold dynamic and colourful prints of birds and animals . He has exhibited internationally, with over 20 solo shows in America and Canada, as well as in the UK. There honest, simple statements have an immediate appeal, Scotsman art critic Susan Mansefield wrote, “Henry’s lines are confident. They come from a place of intuition, observation and understanding. His deft skill makes it look all too easy.” His work is in many collections including Strathclyde Uni, Stirling Smith Art Gallery, Hunterian Glasgow Uni, Chef Nick Nairn, Marti Pellow, Sculptor Andy Scott.
