‘I am completely in awe of the ability of colour to translate its own universal language, to each of us quite differently.
Known for painting atmospheric abstract sky and seascapes, I often incorporate silhouettes either by desire, or as a commission request.
Based in Glasgow’s Southside, I work from home. Painting provides me with a sense of freedom, and the ability to share that experience with others. I create impulsively, reacting to photographs, tv, as well as experience and sense of place. Always my trigger is colour.’
